Chifle cu seminte/Mixed-seed rolls

English recipe at the end.
Am primit de sarbatori o carte de bucate cu retete de paine si diverse aluaturi si dupa ce am rasfoit-o putin m-am apucat constiincioasa si de una dintre retete, asa ca uitati ce a iesit, ENJOY!!!
INGREDIENTE
  • 500 gr faina alba (eu de data asta am folosit 3/4 faina alba si 1/4 faina integrala)
  • 250 ml lapte caldut
  • 20 g unt nesarat topit (1+1/2 linguri unt)
  • 1 lingura drojdie uscata sau granule (5-8 gr)
  • 1 lingurita sare
  • seminte diverse (eu am folosit doar de susan de data asta, dar puteti folosi amestec din mac, seminte de floarea soarelui, susan etc)
MOD DE PREPARARE
  1. Se pune faina cernuta intr-un bol mare sau chiar pe suprafata de lucru si se face o gaura in centru. 
  2. Se dizolva sarea si drojdia in laptele cald si se adauga faina in gaura formata.
  3. Se amesteca cu mana usor pana se incorporeaza tot amestecul de drojdie si lapte.
  4. Se framanta, incorporand incet untul topit sau moale, pana obtinem o coca moale, elastica si nelipicioasa (mai adaugam putina faina daca este necesar). 
  5. Se inclazeste cuptorul la 175-180° C si se acopera aluatul cu o folie de plastic si il lasam sa se odihneasca 10 minute. Dupa cele 10 minute formam chiflele (eu de exemplu am taiat aluatul in 8 parti egale si apoi am format chiflele :)). Cu o pensula am udat putin suprafata fiecarei chifle si apoi le-am dat prin mixul de seminte.
  6. Se aranjeaza chiflele in tava tapetata cu hartie de copt, se acopera cu folie de plastic si se lasa sa creasca aproximativ o ora (ele se cam dubleaza ca marime, dar daca folositi si faina neagra nu o sa mai creasca asa de mult).
  7. Se coc la cuptorul preincalzit pentru aproximativ 10-15 minute (veti observa ca isi schimba putin culoarea, devin aramii, sau puteti incerca ca intodeauna testul scobitorii :)).

ENGLISH VERSION

Ingredients
  • 500 gr all-purpose flour
  • 250 ml warm milk
  • 20 gr unsalted butter
  • seeds mix (like: sesame seeds, cumin seeds, sunflower seeds)
  • 1 tbsp. active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
Method
  1. Put the flour in a large bowl or on a clean surface and make a hole in the center.
  2. Disolve the yeast in the milk and add the salt.
  3. Start incorporating the yeast and milk mixture into the flour until all flour is used, then add the butter graduall. Knead until the dough is smooth, elastic and will not stick to your hands (add more flour if needed).
  4. Heat the oven to 175-180° C and cover the dough with a sheet of plastic wrap and let is rest for 10 minutes. After the 10 minutes form small rolls and moisten the surface of the rolls with a little room-temperature water and coat with seeds.
  5. Arrange the rolls, well spaced, in a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Cover the rolls wit a sheet of plastic wrap and let the dough rise in a warm place about 1 hour (will be doubled).
  6. Bake for 10-15 minute until golden brown.
